Reza Vaezeafshar, M.D. 
Dr. Vaezeafshar (Dr. Afshar) completed his residency in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford in 2019.
He completed a research fellowship in the field of rhinology and sinus surgery at Stanford Sinus Center prior to his otolaryngology residency at Stanford. He has published multiple peer reviewed articles and book chapters in the field of rhinology. Dr. Vaezeafshar is experienced in all aspects of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. He provides both medical and surgical care for his patients. His special clinical interest is in nose and sinus disorders, eustachian tube dysfunction, office based procedures, thyroid ultrasound/surgery and sleep apnea. He sees and cares for adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Afshar enjoys traveling, hiking, running and spending time with his family. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Farsi.
