Jennifer Bock Hughes, M.D. Jennifer Bock Hughes, M.D.   - portrait

Dr. Bock Hughes joined Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in 1994 as a partner after completing an otolaryngology/head and neck surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She received her A.B. in biological sciences from Smith College in 1984 graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She obtained her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 1989, graduating with highest honors.

Dr. Bock Hughes is board-certified as a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and as a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Professional society memberships include the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the San Mateo County Medical Society. She maintains active hospital privileges at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center.

Since 1998, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Mills Peninsula Medical Group (MPMG), the MPMG Physicians' Compensation Committee, and previously chaired the Medical Utilization Committee. Currently, she is chief of the ENT division at Mills-Peninsula Hospital. Past professional commitmentsincluded participation on the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Medical Society and volunteer service as a clinical faculty member in the otolaryngology department at UCSF.

Dr. Bock Hughes is married with three terrific stepchildren who keep her busy. In her spare time, she enjoys travel with her husband, running and artistic pursuits.
