Dr. Lavingia is an otolaryngologist who enjoys all aspects of the ears, nose and throat. She cares for patients of all ages with both medical and surgical illnesses. She has a special clinical interest in thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
Dr. Lavingia obtained her Bachelors of Science degree from Kent State University. She attended medical school at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine where she graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed her internship and residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Lavingia is the author of multiple peer reviewed journal articles and has presented several at national scientific meetings. She takes a special interest in medical missionary work and has traveled to India and the Philippines in the past. In her spare time, Dr. Lavingia enjoys travel, art and spending time with her family and their dog Zoey. She speaks conversational Hindi.
